Job: Part- Time Assistant Manager (Stylist/Key Holder) – Retail Sales (Part-Time/20-35 hours/week)

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Client and Service Expert:

  • Give each customer the luxurious standard of top-notch customer service
  • Meet personal sales goals
  • Develop clientele through selling skills, proactive client outreach, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with new clients
  • Assist in developing fellow stylists' selling skills, client outreach and client relationships
  • Develop strong product knowledge across all categories
  • Ensure exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate La Ville experience
  • Demonstrate interest and ability to work as part of a team to benefit the customer
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of tailoring techniques to further assist clients past the physical store locations
  • Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction

Building the Brand:

  • Understand and able to communicate the La Ville brand aesthetic, brand philosophy and lifestyle to the customer
  • Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented and store presentation standards are maintained
  • Communicate merchandise product issues and customer feedback to Store Manager/Assistant Manager in order to increase customer service and sales
  • Maintain a keen interest in fashion industry and market trends
  • Contribute to La Ville Social Media Platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and/or Snapchat

Operational Excellence:

  • Execute operational tasks as per company directives
  • Accurately processes all POS transactions
  • Adhere to and apply visual directives, ensure that store standards are executed daily
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures including counting register funds and opening and closing registers
  • Participate in inventories
  • Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs and meetings as directed by store management
  • Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance
  • Assist in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocol/policies and all shipping/ receiving related paperwork
  • Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor


  • Evening, weekend and holiday hours are required


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience in a comparable retail environment
  • High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Prior luxury or contemporary goods experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable climbing ladders
